Our patients' concern was the wide range of shapes and colors of previously placed metal-based crowns that did not match his natural teeth. This was most apparent in the mismatch of his two central incisors - the teeth which primarily "center" the smile and set the stage. The goal was to minimize these differences, creating more visual harmony with a minimum of tooth replacement. If we were replacing 6-10 teeth, our freedom to design an entirely new smile would be much greater, however, the goal here was to do more with less. Our patient was very happy with the result of his CEREC crowns.
